Meet The Bloggers Hop

Meet the Pet Bloggers Hop

A bunch of pet bloggers have gotten together to form a Meet the Bloggers Hop. It's purpose is for bloggers to share information about themselves so that others can get to know you better, as well as to learn fun new stuff about fellow bloggers that you never knew.

On Mochas, Mysteries and More I *love* sharing pictures of my little cutie pie Truffles, pictures of myself not so much. One of the criteria of this blog hop is to share a current picture of yourself, so I decided to use the picture of me and Truffles the day I adopted her just 4 short months ago...that way you can look at her too! When this picture was taken it was the first time I had ever held her in my arms, and I was blissfully happy.

What’s your favorite non-animal related book? Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol

What’s your favorite non-animal related movie? Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho

What’s your favorite non-animal related food? Chocolate

Who’s your favorite actor? Michael Landon

What’s one thing you have to do every day? Read

What makes you feel fabulous? Sleeping in past 10am!

What do you wish you were more skilled at? Photography

What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas

Favorite meal? Pizza and Mexican food, love both equally

What do you like to do in your free time? Read

What one word would people who know you use to describe you? Efficient

If your pets could talk, what one word would THEY use to describe you? Worshipful

What is one thing you’ve done that you’re most proud of? My blog

How is your pet most like you? Truffles loves to sleep as much as I do!

What can your body do for you that makes you most proud? Good metabolism, so far!

Other than blogging, what are three things you do that bring you joy? Read, bake, NASCAR

What drives you nuts about your pets? What melts your heart? Truffles only drives me nuts when she won't let me sleep in on the weekends; everything else she does makes me melt.

If you didn’t have your current pets, what pets would you choose to have? I am 100% a cat person. I would love to have a dachshund one day, but can never see myself without a cat.

  7. If Truffles slept in on the weekends, you'd explode from joy. So it's a good thing she has that tiny flaw. :)

  10. Fun post! Cute picture. We listed the same book! Yours is the first blog I've come across that listed the same one as me. :) Oh, sigh - I used to have awesome metabolism. It's still pretty good - but not what it used to be. Getting old... it kind sucks sometimes! (Although it beats the alternative.) :)

  11. Great post! I think that's a great photo - it shows true joy. I love Psycho too! That is an amazing film that shows you the true power of the horror genre. It engages the viewer's imagination rather than overwhelming them with disgusting/terrifying images. I'll have to join in if this hop ever comes around again!

  15. Yay for Dachshunds! I was a cat person until I was about 25 and then the "switch" my Dad says goes off one day that makes you want babies malfunctioned and made me obsessed with owning a dog. Ha, ha. I inherited a Dachshund (I had other plans but oh well) a few years later and adopted another 3 years ago. I can't imagine my life without a dog anymore but I sure love me some kitties.

  16. I love that you said people would describe you as efficient. I believe your answers were succinct and efficient! LOL!
I absolutely love that your cat is names Truffles. How cute is that? Just love it. I also love to read, watch A Christmas Carol and eat Pizza and Mexican food.

Oh yeah, my name is Melissa too. :)

  17. So nice to meet you. Anyone who loves books and cats is an automatic friend. If I could only figure out how to attach a photo here, I'd show you the cat bed I have in my bookcase; I have a feeling you (and Truffles) would love it.
