Kitten Bowl #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!!!

All week I've been seeing my Facebook friends posting their cool Kitten Bowl trading cards and Mommy said she'd help me with mine on Saturday. Well yesterday morning she woke up with the mother of all headaches! Even the iPawd hurt her eyes!!!

Things were looking pretty bleak so I put my Nurse Mudpie hat on and finally by mid-afternoon she was feeling good enough to help me. I decided not to push my luck and ask for her help with a selfie too so I'm entering my trading card in the Sunday Selfies blog hop.

I can hardly wait to watch my very first Kitten Bowl. I'm hoping to learn some new moves from those youngsters!

Today's Kitten Bowl will be hosted by Beth Stern, foster mom extraordinare for North Shore Animal League. Over the past week Mommy has been stalking Beth on Instagram for new photos and videos of her latest foster kitten, a tortie named Miracle. Miracle was found in a dumpster...with her ears cut off. The monster who did this to such an innocent little angel is a waste of good oxygen, pure and simple, and neither one of us can understand why such cruelty is allowed to happen.

I think Mommy would adopt Miracle in a heartbeat, but I just know she's going to have a line of people a mile long who want to adopt her when the time comes!!!

  10. Your trading card is great- I love the "running the Mudpie 500" :) Miracle is adorable, that is awful that someone did that to her. My cat, Prancie has ears like that because of frostbite, I wonder if that could have happened? I just can't imagine someone cutting her ears off- that is so awful.

Miracle is absolutely precious. I agree with you regarding the vile person who did this to her, but I love that you can see the bravery and love of life in little Miracle's eyes despite what she's been through. Purrs!

  21. From years of experience, I can advise your Mom what to do for a bad headache : apply a warm tortie to your forehead (a calico will work if no tortie is available.)

  23. Your trading card is pawsome. We don't understand mean people who would hurt a sweetie like Miracle or any other defenseless animal.
