And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. My plans for this weekend include running errands on Saturday and watching the NASCAR race on Sunday. My typical weekend.

2. I meant it when I said I was frugal. This purse I wanted so badly when I saw it at my local Hallmark store a couple weeks ago finally hit Amazon. I already had an almost $34 gift card balance in my Amazon account, and I cashed in my Fetch app points for a $25 gift card, so I paid $5.30 for a $60 bag!

3. I should probably go out to the garage more often so that I know what's going on in there. My neighbor's cat Aria was trapped in my garage for 2 days! I opened the garage door yesterday afternoon to take out some trash and instantly heard a cat screaming. I didn't think anything of it because she's loud anyways. Then my neighbor came running over and said Aria had been missing since Wednesday. She had even put flyers up around the neighborhood. Aria had pulled every curtain out of every window and had even been digging to get out the side door even though the floor is concrete. She must've been frantic, not to mention starving. I felt horrible!

4. I will never jump on the reality TV trend.

  1. Nice purse!!
Wow, at least Aria was released and to her mom. Poor kitty! One of our cats; Suki, was in a closet here for about 10 days when she had slipped in there just before we left on an out of town trip. Thankfully she was still less than a year old, and likely ate a mouse or two, since we live in an old rickety house. She was a bit dehydrated but the vet said she was fine, phew! She lived into her 11th year, after developing some kind of balance troubles with seizures.

  2. Pretty art, Mudpie. That is a nice bag, and even better when you can use gift cards for it. Poor Aria, at least she and her owner are reunited. You said she's loud, so Aria is a very appropriate name for her.
I don't like reality TV either.

  3. What a fun purse and what a terrific price! Nice to treat yourself. Poor Kitty stuck in your garage for a few days. My neighbor had her cat stuck in her other neighbor's garage for 3 days. That cat went straight home in the front door and never came out of my neighbor's house again in its life!

  5. Pretty art. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Yikes on your neighbor's cat in the garage. Maybe you could set up a motion sensor or something in there. I love the purse. XO

  6. That's some neat art, Mudpie!

We love that bag, Mom Melissa. Sorry about Aria being stuck in the garage; glad, though, that she's back with her human.

What a bargain on the purse.

I know all of us are sorry for Aria and I agree with you about reality TV.

  9. What lovely art, Mudpie!
    That's a lovely bag too.
Poor Aria, she must have been frantic. Thank goodness she's reunited now with her Mommy!
We, too, are dead set against so-called "Reality TV". The real reality, that we see on the News, is bad enough!!!
