And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!
1. Let's bring back 9/12 America. It's our wonderful country's 250th birthday and American pride is at an all-time low because of politics. It's really sad.
2. Juneteenth is the new weekend before Christmas. I'm being facetious of course, but I made the mistake of running errands yesterday and the number of people out shopping was absolutely ridiculous!
3. I appreciate that my local area is able to help animals in need. Our shelters adopt out animals so quickly we're able to partner with shelters down south to save even more lives.
4. Taxes, inspections, and politics are my least favorite part about where I live. Sorry, I couldn't narrow it down to just one thing. Our property taxes are one of the highest in the nation, we're one of only 14 states with mandatory annual vehicle inspections (which are supposed to be for safety reasons but only serve to put more money in the pockets of mechanics), and our politics are as far from my personal beliefs as they could possibly be.

It's amazing the kinds of things that our states will come up with in order to get more money in their pockets. Thankfully we don't have the auto inspections here. Love the artwork this morning. And you're right about low morale in the US. Maybe 4th of July will make people a little happier this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular stained glass kind of art, Mudpie. And you're right about American pride being in the toilet right about now. Something's gotta change.
ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous Mudpie :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely art , Mudpie. We agree. You should be proud of being American. Shame not many are.
ReplyDeleteCool art, Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing, Mudpie!
ReplyDeleteOur small town has higher property taxes than one would think, but they are so much higher nearby.
Adorable Mudpie art! Happy Caturday! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty art sweet Mudpie! Those were good fill-in answers too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. great answers. #2 cracked me up. :) XO
ReplyDeleteI do love the art.
ReplyDeleteWe had inspections here, but the state just got rid of it. Of course, the federal government still wants to inspect in our area for emissions, so we will still have to go each year. After all, it’s not the chemical plants lining the river which are causing all the pollution, it’s our cars. (Talk about lousy politics!).
Lovely artwork, sweet Mudpie and great fill in answers too😸Extra Pawkisses for you and your mommy too🐾😽💞
