When Mommy helped me take my selfie the other night in bed she thought I looked sad.
The truth is, I'm kind of lonely. Since I moved into my forever home last month Mommy's life has just been crazy. Three of her cousins have gotten married over the past 6 weeks, so that's three weekend days when we could have spent together that I've been left alone.
Then another cousin passed away very suddenly and his wake and funeral was last weekend.
Mommy says her "family obligations" are done now and we can spend more time concentrating on "us". I hope she's right or I might have to agree with her the next time she jokes that maybe she should adopt a "furry friend" for me!

Maybe another furry friend for you would be nice, but remember, you also have all your furry friends in blogosphere to keep you company too. We are always here for you.

I say play it up if you can. We are sorry to learn of the passing of your mama's cousin. Losing family members is a tough road, and she's had her share this year.
