At the Vet #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

If you follow me on Facebook you may have noticed that on Thursday afternoon I posted this:



Nothing was wrong, Mommy just brought me in for my yearly wellness visit and rabies shot. I didn't know a thing about the appointment though so I was horrified to have my nice, quiet day shattered.

When we got into the exam room Mommy thought taking some selfies might help me calm down but I wasn't falling for it! (The next time she's about to be groped and prodded I'll try suggesting the same thing to her!)


Once Dr. John came in I was a perfect little angel and let him do his thing, realizing the sooner he finished the faster I could get back home!

Thankfully it didn't take him long to pronounce me a purrfectly happy and healthy 3-year old. (He couldn't even hear any crackling in my lungs from the asthma!)

Was there ever any doubt???

    Oooh, that was a bit sneaky! But at least it was just a check up, and you had all those potential new toys to play with. I dare say that kitchen towel dispenser toy suspended just above your head would have been first to be played with! purrs ERin

    Whew, I'm sure glad you survived that, Mudpie! Evan had his annual exam and rabies vaccine this past week, but he completely shot down my suggestion of taking selfies there. His preferred calming method at the vet is urinating on his mommy. Anyway, you look fantastic, Mudpie, as always!

    Mudpie, I empathize! I was at the vet this week too (for diarrhea). I'm so glad your doc pronounced you perfect (like you said, no doubt there!) and that there's no crackling in your lungs!

    Mudpie, you appear to look skeptical about this vet visit, so we are so happy that it wasn't too traumatic and that you have been declared purrfect. We do have one question, though.     Mee-you sweet Mudpie mee betss you were not impurressed about thee Vet visit! LadyMum all wayss tellss mee ahead of time so mee not worried about goin.
    (Mind you mee has NO Vet now so it not matter...)
