Sealed with a Kiss #MewsicMovesMe

The theme of this week's Mewsic Moves Me blog hop is National Day calendar inspired titles and lyrics using the keywords: mail, soup and vacuum.


We're sticking with mail since we can't think of a single country song that includes soup and vacuuming. This first song is a country classic that has been covered by many, many artists, but of course we chose Conway's version :)


These next songs about letters may be a bit of a cheat, but they're still related to mail.

Conway wrote this song and I what I particularly love about it is that the whole song is spoken. I've always thought his speaking voice was just as beautiful as his singing voice.

    I remember both of Conway Twitty's songs, especially 'Key's In The Mailbox'. Your last three song picks are new-to-me. I really enjoyed Collin Raye "Love, Me". It's really beautiful.     You gonna mail yourself to some tabby like Bear, MP? I'll bet your mom knew that Tim McGraw's dad used to pitch for the NY Mets and Phillies. He was cute too.

    Loved that stamp (you made it, didn't you?) Two songs here really touhed me. First, Brad Paisley and his letter to his 17 year old self. Second, the Tim GcGraw song.
