Paper Bag Day Flashback Friday

Meows from Mudpie!

Did you know that today is Paper Bag Day? I'm a huge fan of paper bags when Mommy brings them home from the grocery store. (Don't most kitties love to get inside the bags? Strangely enough, Mommy tells me Angel Tara used to prefer crushing them down and sleeping on top of them! It was one of her favorite nap spots and there was always one on the floor.)

I thought it would be fun to celebrate Paper Bag Day with a flashback to 2015 as we were getting ready for my first Christmas in my forever home. Mommy had come home from Trader Joe's and I ran into a slight problem...

(A word of caution: always remove the handles from bags before letting kitty play with them as they can be a strangling hazard. Mommy hadn't done that yet when these pictures were taken but I was never left unsupervised with the bag.)

Crap on a cracker. My favorite toy just rolled into this bag.

    Bear used to love playing in and around paper bags. Then I started leaving them out for him and he decided it wasn't nearly as fun. You sure know how to party, Mudpie! Don't worry, we won't let the cat out of the bag ;)

    We love paper bags. Mom is cautious about handles too because Allie got caught in one once.

    Mudpie, if I took a photo of every time Da Boyz crawled into a Trader Joe's bag...well, I'd have a ton of photos of cat butts!

    That's a sweet flashback. Flynn like to get in paper bags too. Eric preferred to sit on them, especially if Flynn was inside.

    "Crap on a cracker"? I never heard that one before. We don't have a Trader Joes or Whole Food close enough to walk to but TW takes the outta the refuse room so recycle our papers in. Lately none are getting thrown out.

    Tonks is just like you, Mudpie, and housemate Toby is like Angel Tara. The thing is, though, Tonks will get in the bag, and then Toby will sit on it while she's still inside. Isn't that rude? Tonks sure thinks so.
