We've got a great collection of sentimental tunes for you today. I knew I had to pick an extra special mom song by Conway because he was so very close to his own mother. He took care of her until the day he died, and she passed a short 16 months later. He often said the thing he was most proud of in his life is that never once raised his voice to his mother. How many of us can say the same thing?

ReplyDeleteSome really great tunes here my friend, and holy cow I haven't heard Jimmy Dean since I was a very little girl. My mom loved his show. Him & Tennessee Ernie Ford. ~hahahaha~ Great job here for sure! I say my favorite of these was Glen Campbell. What a pretty song & even that one by Diamond Rio "Mama, Don't forget to pray for me", was oh so pretty! Thanks for playin' along. You've rocked the house!
