Moon Over Mudpie #MewsicMovesMe

The theme of this week's Mewsic Moves Me blog hop is songs about, or mentioning, the moon.


We're starting out with our two favorite versions of the classic song Blue Moon. Conway first, of course, followed by the ridiculously adorable singing mice choir from the movie Babe.

    Momma remembers the Rope the Moon song from when she wuz a kid on country radio. In fact, she's got it in her music library too!

    I enjoyed Conway's 'Blue Moon' cover and those mice singing are just too stinking cute. :) The rest of the song titles are introductions. It's great having you on the 4M dance floor. Stay safe, be well, an have a boogietastic week, my furriends! ;)

    Rope the Moon is the second song I have heard this morning that speaks to the image that dads project to their children and how important it is to live a life worthy of their admiration. Thanks for sharing your music with us today. Have a blessed week.

    I just love this image of you, Mudpie! And what fantastic songs you chose. I was so excited when I saw Babe here. I haven't seen that movie in years, and I really need to remedy that, as I loved that movie as a kid. Purrs!

    For some reason, the first song that came to mind was Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn. It's odd because that song would never make my top 10 or 25 - maybe even top 50 - country songs. It's weird where our minds go sometimes.
