Happy Eclipse Day!!!

Meows from Mudpie!

It's a super exciting day in our neck of the woods because we're in the "path of totality" for the Great American Eclipse! Tens of thousands of eclipse chasers have descended on Vermont for this once in a lifetime event, and shockingly, it's supposed to be a mostly sunny day. Mommy and Grandpa will be watching from our backyard. I'll likely be taking my afternoon nap! MOL

Mommy got these two cat-themed eclipse buttons to commemorate this monumental day...

And how adorable is this t-shirt sold by our state's only cat cafe?

Leave it to Mommy to make eclipse day all about cats!

I've trained her well...

  2. Mudpie, you have an epic art work this morn. And we too will be in totality if'n the rain stops and the clouds clear out by 3. I think they will. But we have not cute things to celebrate with like yer mommy found. Those are great! By 3 PM I am usually up and begging fur an early dinner bite so I might see it get dark, but hey, it's been dark fur months already. Waiting fur more sun puddles, and I did get one yesterday. 6. Maybe we're biased ... but every day should be about cats. The world would be a MUCH better place!

  10. Yeah, mom and dad had heard from someone that tons and tons of humans were clogging the highways northward. They watched it from Bowman's Tower right here near Washington's Crossing.
