Thankful Thursday

Meows from Mudpie!

This week we're thankful for our new kitchen faucet. Ours bit the dust last week (the cold water wouldn't stop running even when the faucet was turned off) and Mommy had to wait a week for our plumber to replace it. Isn't it funny the things you take for granted until they no longer work?

Mommy had to take all the cleaning supplies out from under the sink so he would have room to hook up the new faucet, so of course I had to check out the empty space. (We're not sure what those old stains are. Must've been a water leak there at some point, long before our time!)

Mommy often jokes that with all the water problems we have she needs to marry a plumber. Our plumber would be the right age, and he's single, but he's not a candidate because he's obviously not a cat guy. While he was here I snoopervised his work, and he never even looked at me!

Better keep looking, Mommy!

  1. Not a cat guy! That's downright wrong. Nice that he could be able to fix the problem and soon you will have to give up that new empty space. Precious loves me to open cabinet doors and make a bit of space fur her to investigate.

  5. He may have been good at his plumbing skills, but he will need to get up to par with his cat interest. Mommy has to keep looking:)

  7. I'm glad it's fined for you, we've been without water in the kitchen, too, and it's no fun.

Yes, marrying a plumber would be convenient when you need one, but what would happen when you need an electrician or a mechanic? Besides, i know many handymen whose homes are falling down...

  8. Hmmmm...our Dad was a plumber...he did NOT like cats until he met Queen Nellie Bellie! And we love cupboards too! There is nothing like getting into one of those doors that hides all the interesting places. Keep being awesome! Marvelous Marv
