Meows from Mudpie!
Mommy and I want to thank you all so much for the lovely Gotcha Day wishes left here on our blog and on Facebook. I'm such a lucky tortie to be surrounded by so much love.
I had a pawsome day...I got a rotisserie chicken! Mommy said I had to share with Mo, which I don't really understand - why do I have to share some of MY Gotcha Day gift with HIM? She said he's family even though he doesn't live inside with us, so I guess it's ok.
**********
Breaking news! At 11pm last night Mommy went to the door to look for Mo, and there he was...with a dead mouse beside him. He didn't eat it like he did last week though, he just laid there with it. Mommy said he'd brought a gift to my party like a proper gentleman caller. I'm not really interested in eating it though. I'll stick with my properly cooked rotisserie chicken. I might like to play with the tail though.
Then, just an hour later, he had eaten half of the mouse and puked it all up in our driveway! Guess he's not such a gent after all!
And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!
2. I find most sports boring.
3. I wish I had a cat's ability to fall asleep immediately.
4. Television often distracts me from things I need to get done.
Pawesome selfie Mudpie, furbulous fill-ins and here's wishing mew an epic day!
ReplyDeleteMudpie I guess the thing that you probably should have done was taken that Mouse and brought it in the house when he stopped by with it. And he could have just eaten chicken and Mommy could have figured out where to put the mouse. But obviously he enjoyed it while he had it. I'm like your mommy and wish that I can fall asleep as fast as precious does.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to catch those mice but they are not good to eat.
ReplyDeleteLove the cute photo! Take care, have a wonderful week!
Nice selfie, Mudpie! Sounds like that mouse didn't agree with Mo.
ReplyDeleteMo is sweet on you, Mudpie...or maybe it's your Meowmy he's trying to impress?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a special day sweet Mudpie and I think Mo really likes you! Those were good fill-in answers too.
ReplyDeleteOh, We are so sorry We missed your Gotcha Day, Mudpie! We hope you had a wonderful celebration! It's no surprise at all that your Mommy fell in love with you at Furrst Sight! We wish you both many more years of Love and Happiness together. BTW - Saturday was Tu b'Av - the Mewish Valentine's Day. It seems a furry suitable date to be celebrating your Gotcha Day, dear one.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good Gotcha day Mudpie!!!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad that mouse did not agree with Mo.
Hope he will feel better.

Eww on barfed up mousie. Mom totally agrees with #3
ReplyDeleteNice selfie, Mudpie. Maybe the rotisserie chicken and the mouse combo disagreed with Mo's sensitive tummy?
