2. Nearly running out of gas was an awkward moment. Dad and I were running errands on Wednesday when the low fuel warning light came on. I didn't realize how low I was. Dad started to worry he was going to have to walk home!
3. I learned to drive when I was 30 years old. I took drivers ed in high school (as a senior, I waited as long as I could!) Then Dad wanted to continue teaching me on a stick shift which I absolutely despised, so I stopped driving. Thankfully I worked within walking distance. Finally at 30 I started driving again on an automatic and got my license.
4. I can only take so much heat and humidity before I get grumpy.
That is pretty art, Mudpie.
ReplyDeleteI started driving unofficially up and down the private track to our house when I was 12. As soon as I was old enough to get my licence and drive on the roads I took my test. I failed the first time for driving too fast, but passed when I was 18. I have never driven an automatic, always a stick shift or column change.
Kitties do love playing in the boxes, cute photo. Take care, have a happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI learned to drive an automatic the ones I left home the first thing I wanted was a stick shift car. So I bought one, and of course did not know how to drive it. That took some self training let me tell you. It was a good thing I lived in a flat town. Love the artwork you have this morning.
ReplyDeleteMudpie, you are like a perfect art gallery page every time you post your beautiful face here!!
ReplyDeleteLovely art, Mudpie. Definitely agree with #4!
ReplyDeleteExcellent art!
ReplyDeleteThe Hubby will drive until the gas gauge shows EMPTY, but he swears that we have enough to get to the gas station.
So far, he's be right, but I still get very nervous.
Beautiful art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You can go at least 20 miles once the gas light comes on- trust me as I have tested it many times. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a stunning photo sweet Mudpie. Those were interesting answers too.
