Hey everybody, Truffles at the keyboard!

With the official arrival of Summer later this week, we feel like it's the purr-fect time to shake things up around here with a super sized giveaway! We're partnering with some of your favorite pet bloggers to give you a chance to win one of 3 amazing prizes!

    My dog and I have participated in Bark for Life, Pet Days at the Bank, Wine, Cheese and Canines, and there is Tails for Trails, Hiking with Fido, and the Pet Expo. Artie and I are always on the "go" and we try to do as many pet events as possible.

    My kitty-boy and I are going to try to stay out of this unbearable South Florida heat as much as possible, so we'll probably do a lot of reading, napping, and playing with cat toys!

    I read about this at Christy Paws! We are staying inside today (as every day) but Mommy said something about the windows being open tomorrow as it's going to be less humid. I am going to be dreaming about that gift card for mommy or maybe the blue bowl for me! I of course wish every one could win.

    Well, we would have loved to do special things, but this summer is just going to be a summer of staycationing and the peeps doing yard duties, and going to their respective jobs. Maybe we will get some company now and then. We enjoy when our auntie comes, and MJF always hopes she brings her pup along...though maybe us kitties are not so keen about that, MOL!

    Don't have any special plans will take them on walks more in the evening or early morning when it cooler. I don't have air conditioning in the car so I can only take them on short car trips during the summer months. sarah s

    Acht! My comment deleted before it posted. Anyway, we haven't been able to get out too much so far this summer with all the storms (and two of my dogs are deathly afraid of thunder - and fireworks and just about any other sudden, loud sound). I lost my sweet, deaf hound girl, Ran, back in April - she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder the beginning of the year and went downhill quickly, despite the best efforts of my vet and me. I plan on adopting another dog in a month or so, so I'm also working on getting things ready for that - including spending extra, special time with my other furbabies. I know they are missing Ran almost as much as I am.

    Since I no longer have dogs, I really don't have plans with my furkids, I just hang out with the cats-but the rats love the fresh locally grown fruit-especially watermelon!!!
