Fun Feline Finds: Plum Pudding Cats

Meows from Mudpie!

Did you know today is National Plum Pudding Day? We're not sure why it's celebrated 6 weeks after Christmas, but since Mommy is a total anglophile and thinks plum puddings especially are super cute, we're joining the celebration!

This past holiday season we got the most purrfect pin EVER from an online shop called Innabox. It's a chubby little tortie masquerading as a plum pudding!

Unfortunately now that the holiday season is over this pin is no longer in stock, but we found a few more things around the interwebs that adorably blend plum puddings and cats. It's never too early to start shopping for next Christmas!

  1. My human is not even sure what a plum pudding is! Although she loves lots of things English, she is a pretty crappy Anglophile!

  3. Poor plum pudding...it doesn’t contain plums and “it’s day” is February 12, not December 25. It gets no respect! :)
    Cute finds, Melissa and Mudpie.

  9. Dad says that 6 weeks after Christmas used to be considered halfway through Winter, so people took out the last of the old fruits and added sugar and stuff to make it good ta eat...

Not that WE would eat a plum...

  10. Mudpie,

You scared me to death! I thought it was Christmas again. lol Do you know what, I've never had plum pudding? I've been curious about it but never tried making it. There has to be a reason for this but for the life of me I can't remember what it is unless it just didn't sound good to me. You're so right it's never too early to begin shopping or gathering ideas for Christmas because it truly with a snap of the fingers or so it seems.
