Meows from Mudpie!
Do you see the chair behind me? That's my grandpa's chair, but he's not in it.
Grandpa has been in the hospital since a week ago Friday, and he's very sick, but the doctors can't find anything in particular wrong with him. It's the kind of sick you get when your body is old and tired of fighting. It's the kind of sick you don't recover from.
There's been a lot of tears and difficult discussions at our house this week because we just don't know what the future holds, and we're scared.
This is the second year in a row he's been in the hospital over Christmas, but at least last year we had a treatment plan. This year all we can do is ask for purrs and prayers.
We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

We can't make things better but if you need us we are here.

Mudpie (Melissa and Grandma), I’m sending up a prayer God will comfort you all and Grandpa will be home soon.
Our thoughts and purrs are with you all. Life, the body, comes to an end, at some point, but we must remember that the soul, the essence within, moves on into another being. We all meet again, in time. Until then we must be strong, kind, generous and loving.
Gentle healing purrs and may your Christmas be blessed ❤️

We're sorry to hear this, Mudpie. Sending lots of purrs and prayers to your Grandpa. Hugs to you and your mom too.
Our purrs to you. TBT says he has seen Mom, Dad, and a Sister cross their Bridge. The Mom&Dad were from that kind of " worn out, just tired" thing. while they were in Hospice. The Sister was a surprise "brain stroke" at 44.
Some of us Mews have seen fur-family cross the bridge too. Some like TBT's Mom&Dad, but Iza was a surprise at 12.
TBT says loss is never good, but you cant prevent it eventually. All you/we/him can do is remember good lives...
