Happy Halloween 2025

Meows from Mudpie! We hope you're having a pawsome Halloween!

Today is also the last Friday of the month, which means it's time for the Pet Photo Fails blog hop!

This picture is super dark and you might not even be able to see what I was doing, but it was just too cute not to share. I was resting my head on my favorite mug of water, and fell asleep like that! Mommy told me not to drop my head in any further or I might drown!

That's my blooper...let's see yours!

Ghost Kitties Everywhere!

Meows from Mudpie!

To say Mommy is obsessed with ghost kitties would be an understatement. It's downright spooky at our house!

This bunch resides on a bookshelf between my bedroom and bathroom and they watch me every time I go by.

We made up a little story for these ghost kitty stuffies. Of course we have the orange kitty we named Mo. He has a mouse in his mouth because that was his favorite treat! Mommy said that I'm the black kitty with the trick or treat bag (which should have some squeezies sticking out of it), and she's the big ghost with the pumpkin spice latte. We're all out trick or treating together!

The above signs hang in our hallway, and these are in the kitchen...

Everywhere I turn there's a ghost haunting me!

Embarrassing Baby Talk #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

I can't believe I'm telling you this because it's SO embarrassing.

I think I've mentioned before that one of Mommy's favorite nicknames for me is Muddy Poo-Poo. I kid you not.

It gets worse.

I always hang out with her in the kitchen late at night when she's picking up one last time before bed. Usually if I'm lucky I can score an extra treat or two. Lately she's started asking me, "Is Mudsy-wudsy-poo ready for nighty-nighty-poo on the blankie-wankie-poo?"

You can't make this stuff up!

1. My hometown is where I still live today. I love that I'm in a (fairly) quiet suburb (except for the high school at the top of the street) with just about everything I need only a couple miles away.

2. October is a good time to do some early Christmas shopping and beat the rush.

3. If I saw the ghost of Conway, I would pass out.

4. You couldn't pay me to wear a sexy costume.

Thankful Thursday: Adding to Our Mo Memorial

Meows from Mudpie!

A couple weeks ago Mommy went to the mailbox and pulled out a package she hadn't ordered.

Inside the package was the sweetest gift from our wonderful friend Sierra from the Fur Everywhere blog - this amazing Mo Christmas ornament. Mommy's eyes immediately started leaking.

Just the week before she had told Grandpa that she wanted to look for a Mo ornament to add to our tree this year, and she had also planned to print a picture to place beside his urn. This precious ornament took care of both ideas at once!

It will most certainly be front and center on our Christmas tree this year, but until then it has been added to the keepsake box that holds Mo's paw print and fur, and that's where it will reside after the holiday season too. It fits like it was meant to be there.

We can't thank Sierra enough for this extra special gift, and we also want to thank Terry from Brian's Home Forever for doing such an amazing job touching up the photo Sierra wanted to use. Most of the pictures I have of Mo were taken through a door or window so none of them are crystal clear.

Our ornament came from The Cat Blogosphere's online shop, and we can't recommend them highly enough!

We're joining the Thankful Thursday blog hop because we're super thankful for thoughtful blogging friends!
