Meows from Mudpie!
We've mentioned many times how Gone with the Wind was my Grandma's favorite movie. Mommy and Grandma watched it on her birthday in August every year, but since Grandma has been gone Mommy has been unable to watch it. It's been nearly 4 years.
Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a multi-day Mexican holiday (October 31-November 2) during which time friends and family members who have died are honored and remembered.
Mommy happened to notice the other day that GWTW will be airing on TCM this afternoon. We obviously have the movie on DVD and digital and can watch it at any time, but we think the fact that it's airing today is a sign and we plan to cuddle up together on the couch and watch it...for Grandma. As we approach this first holiday season without both Grandma and Grandpa we want to do everything we can to keep them with us.
(Mommy will be keeping an eye on the NASCAR race on her laptop. Grandma would understand!)
We're joining our friends at The Cat on My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

We hope you have a lovely cuddle session with GWTW. Treats, hot and cold drinks and running mice, and a good cosy blanket to snuggle into. And that is a beautiful selfie, too, Mudpie.
Have a great week

Mudpie, your selfie this morning is beautiful. Yes you and your mommy will enjoy doing things this season that the four of you always did together.
Mudpie, if we all lived next door to one another we would get along great! Totes understand about GWTW, the why of it, and the doing. XX
Enjoy your cuddle time. Mom's mom loved that movie too!
We hope you and your mom have a lovely time watching. My mum loves that movie and is a big fan of Vivien Leigh (who was also a cat lady).
You would make a great Southern Belle sweet Mudpie! You and Mom enjoy the movie!
what a lovely thing to do to honor your grandma
Love is forever.
