Meows from Mudpie!
Yesterday morning we had a bad thunderboomer while I was lounging in the back door. Rain came in the screen - I got wet! - and it was super loud. I was scared. I complained to Mommy and then waited in the kitchen until it was over.

Thunder and heavy rod reason to rain is good reason to go and seek comfort elsewhere. Never nice when the rain comes in, either. Hopefully you can settle back into your routine now it has all passed over.
Stay well, Mudpie, and may summer and warmth soon lighten your days

We've had a few Thunder Boomers the last couple of weeks. Precious ends up under the bed. But I've been rather pleased that she comes out as soon as it gets quiet. And she's gotten wet by sitting out on the patio a few mornings when it was sprinkling. You girls just love your fresh air.
Best to stay away from the door when there's boomers, Mudpie. I don't like storms either. ~Murphy
Scared AND wet?
Wow, Erin, that's enough to make a cat sleep for three days straight.
Mudpie...I was errant in judgement (fancy way of saying I was a dummy) in staying where the rain could get me through the screen. MOM had to come get me. Sheesh.

Sorry you got wet. Very pretty selfie. XO
Those storms are not fun sweet Mudpie. I'm glad all is okay now. Beautiful selfie!
That sounds like it was pretty scary, Mudpie. We are so glad you are okay.
I'd complain, too, if I got wet in the house from a storm. I was asleep once and water managed to leak through a closed window, drip on the sill and splash me! I was so tired I just threw a towel up on the window sill and moved my pillow and went back to sleep.
EeeeeWWww Wet??? You poor thing!!!! We should sen an emergency towel alert!!
