Caturday Art

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. I rue the day I didn't remain at the ER the night Truffles died

2. One thing I wish I had closure with is Truffles' death. I was unable to get back to the emergency vet in time to be with her at the end, and 10 years later I still don't know if she passed on her own or if they had to put her to sleep.

3. The basement recently took a turn for the worse when the new furnace went in. I had to move so much around it'll be a miracle if I ever manage to find anything ever again! On the plus side, in one week I made 3 trips to Goodwill and one trip to the landfill with stuff I no longer needed or wanted!

4. My living room has improved thanks to Mudpie's new cat tree. I've had stacks and stacks of old VHS tapes piled up in the corner (without even a working VCR) but those had to go to make room for the cat tree. I have kept all my DVDs though, and even finally hooked my DVD player up to the new TV I got back in late 2024.

I'd say you've been quite busy making a few changes here and there. I know whenever I take a bag of clothes or other things to the goodwill, I feel some kind of instant relief. Glad the furnace is in. By the way I was listening to some Conway Twitty music yesterday. Sometimes I just need good nostalgic music.

Hugs and purrs that you have this unhealed wound in your heart for Angel Truffles.
Have been there, and have talked to animal communicators and veterinarians who helped me see that Angel Chuck's passing was more upsetting to me than to him, as his soul was ready to leave his mortal body.
Hope you can find closure.

Lovely art, Mudpie! Mum got rid of almost all VHS tapes when we moved. She still has her DVDs, though.

Nice art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins. I am sorry you didn't get to be with Truffles when she passed. I understand your pain with that as my first cat, KaChoo was at an emergency vet and they wanted to keep her one more night so I went home from visiting her and got the call that evening. Kuddos to you on getting rid of stuff. XO

I like the artwork very much. It’s a good thing when something happens to get us to really look at our stuff and do a bit of sorting.

That is some really interesting art, Mudpie. How nice that the new furnace and your new cat tree are helping getting things organized at your place.
