Meows from Mudpie!
Mo ran off for the Rainbow Bridge 6 months ago today and Mommy still misses him so much.
Now that the weather is getting a little nicer and we have the back door open more she finds herself falling into a familiar pattern of glancing out when she's in the kitchen to see if that sweet little face is looking back in.
Many times last summer and early fall Grandpa would say he didn't look forward to another winter of worrying about Mo out there in the cold. As it would turn out neither one of them would see the winter, which breaks our hearts.
We're joining our friends at The Cat on My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

It is sad to think that both have left you. Better to think they have a good rebirth and a happy well life elsewhere.
May your week be filled with happiness and only good memories.

Long years of habit definitely keep you doing the same thing over and over. Looking out the door for the handsome boy. Thankfully he did not have to suffer through the terrible winter we had this year. How you might have kept him warm is probably a question you've asked yourself many times.
So sorry to hear about this Mudpie :-( I have had 3 deaths in the last few weeks. It really isn't easy is it. We will remember them always. Mo was a gorgeous cat <3
I lost my dad in 2002 when I was 21. 24 years later I still miss him but have such happy memories <3
Mo was so handsome. We know he is missed as is your grandpa.
Memories can often be so bittersweet. We can imagine Grandpa and Mo together forever enjoying warmth and sunshine. Sending love and hugs as you remember. Thanks for hopping with us! I believe your dad is watching Mo for you now. XO
As an older human with older cats I can identify with your Grandpa's dreading another winter. I have a feeling maybe he and Mo are sitting together in the sunshine wishing they could let you know not to feel quite so sad.
Mo always looked like such a gentle soul. Hugs.
I’d like to think that Mo and your dad are together, enjoying each other’s company.
Gentle hugs to you. It’s hard to miss those you love.
We bet Mo and Grandpa are together now, watching over you both. Hugs.
Aww, that's so sad about Mo and the Grandpa. We're sure it's still heartbreaking and will be for a long, long time. Be well, ladies.
Mo was a sweetie x
Oh man * chokes back some tears * I am sorry about Mo. He looked a lovely cat.
