Truffles LOVES these mice!!! They are so soft and cuddly, perfect for snagging with her claws and batting the stuffing out of! You know a toy is loved when it turns up in unusual spots around the house, and I'm finding these little cuties lying around everywhere! (Don't you just love the paw action in the photo below???)

The Egg-cersizer I specifically picked out for her because her two favorite things are treats and balls. Surprisingly, she's been slow to warm up to it! Granted, I pretty much always give her a little treat when she asks for one, so when I put her treats in the Egg-cersizer she looks at me as though questioning why she suddenly has to "work" for them. Her playtime has definitely decreased in the summer heat, though, so I'm going to keep trying come cooler weather. (This toy would be great to help cats that eat their food too fast and then throw it up to eat more slowly, and for overweight kitties to get a little workout while noshing their vittles!)

Hey everybody, Truffles at the keyboard! One day last week while I was taking my afternoon siesta, the UPS man brought me a package! Knowing how exhausted I get being so adorable all the time, Mommy wisely waited until I woke up to tell me. What did I think? I have to be perfectly honest. I didn't like them. Mommy gave me 3 treats which sat there for a couple hours before I finally ate them. She gave me 5 more pieces and I walked away. So I sought a second opinion from my neighbor kitty Pumpkin who likes to visit my house daily for a snack. He LOVED them! He actually climbed up Mommy's leg impatiently waiting for her to open the package!

Portly to Playful is Possible with #HillsPet

Review: Natural Pet Company's 32" Interactive Feather Wand Cat Toy

Last week we told you about the Natural Pet Company's catnip, this week's feature is their 32" Interactive Feather Wand Cat Toy.

I think wand toys are just about the perfect toy for cats and the people that love them. These feathers are the best imitation of a bird's feathers that I've ever seen which is just the thing to bring out a cat's basic hunting instinct. This toy makes Truffles so, so happy...and it makes me happy too because it's an interactive toy that creates beautiful bonding moments every time I pick it up. It's something we can play with together. Truffles is very gentle with her toys, so with two refill feathers included this will last her a very long time.

Review: Natural Pet Company's Catnip

Back in January we received an email from Florina with The Natural Pet Company asking if Truffles would like to try out some of their products and we eagerly said yes. Protect Your Pets with #PetHub: Review & Giveaway

Only twice in my life have I not known where my cat was, and anyone who has ever had a pet go missing knows it is one of scariest things you will ever go through. The first time was with my childhood cat Patch. He was scared to death of my Uncle Bob, a big, boisterous man. One day after my uncle's visit where we had been in and out of the house all day, Patch was nowhere to be found. I was no more than 7 years old but I remember how terrified my mother was. After scouring the neighborhood we ended up finding him hiding under the bed!

The 2nd time was with Tara just 5 weeks after I adopted her. It was late June and her favorite nap spot was the screened-in bathroom window. I got up for work one morning to find that somehow during the night the window had let go and Tara had gotten out.  Once again my poor neighbors probably thought I had lost my mind, only to come back home and discover that Tara had just sauntered into the bushes mere feet from where she had landed when she fell out.
