When You Wish Upon a Star #CaturdayArt

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!

1. One Thanksgiving tradition I have is watching the Macy's parade.

2. Black Friday I sleep in and any shopping I do is online!

3. The best part about Thanksgiving Day is the family time. And my favorite part of the meal, the cranberry stuffing.

4. One Thanksgiving, Angel Tara slipped out of the house. A few days before the holiday I'd put my turkey in the garage to thaw and was bringing it back into the house on Thanksgiving morning. Tara was waiting at the door and snuck out. Thankfully I saw her, threw the 15 pound turkey in the door and grabbed her. My dad was at work in the kitchen and missed the whole thing. It was quite funny after I had my heart attack.

  1. What a cool, sparkly picture! My human is with you on Black Friday - it's the one day she absolutely won't step in a store (except maybe CVS for dental floss or shampoo).

  2. We love this sparkly version of you, Mudpie! So pretty! You're the best kind of star to wish upon, that's for sure. And we love the fill-in answers. Like you, the only kind of shopping I might do on Black Friday is online. And we also love family time on Thanksgiving, and the food! Purrs to you, Mudpie and Melissa!

Mum hates crowds and shopping so she does most of her shopping online these days :)

ps - {re: I have to go for a check-up very soon too, Bear. Wanna go together and you can hold my paw?} ... ***HEART MELTING*** Awww ... Mudpie ... I would LOVE that. Plus, with our combined feline wiles ... and a little distraction ... I bet we could both escape ;) ~Bear Cat

  7. Mudpie looks dreamy! I love that you were prepared to sacrifice your turkey for Tara! Frodo and Zulu are always trying to sneak out. I am very vigilant and even have collars and name tags on them at all times in case they escape. But once I opened the back door to take out the garbage and Zulu was ON THE PORCH!! waiting to get in! I have no idea how long he was out there. I nearly had a heart attack and was so thankful he came home and waited patiently on the porch for me to let him in! Did he ever get a big lecture about escaping! hairballsandhissyfits.com

  8. Beautiful art Miss Mudpie Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That must have been scary when Tara escaped, luckily you saw her right away. I am a glutton for punishment and always go out Black Friday although by 7 am all the crazies are back home :) Have a nice weekend!

  9. Mudpie you are a star!
Whew we understand the heart attack you felt with Angel Tara got out the door! One time Angel Abby did that when the front door was cracked and I freaked out so bad I yelled at the top of my lungs at her and she went SPLAT all four feet on the ground in a crouching posture and I picked her up. She wasn't one to run off but I was so scared that I just nearly died right then and there. But that was the ONLY time she ever did that.
