She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy

Meows from Mudpie!

I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine, Hunter.

Hunter is the mascot of our local Agway. He lives there!

During the summer months he hangs out in the garden center, but over the winter he spends his days socializing with the customers from the comfort of his favorite spot: the various mowers and tractors on the sales floor!

Do any stores in your area have a kitty mascot?

  1. Hunter is such a handsome boy. And what a great life to be able to sit on tractors all day long. And he gets to meet all kinds of peeps. Have a great day.

  2. How cute is that? We only see cats hanging out and living at the vet.

  3. The dad guy has Chip and Slim at his garden center, but they really don't hang out in the store part much. They're still skittish around most humans.

  4. How wonderful to meet Hunter. He's so handsome! (I don't blame you if you have a crush on him, Mudpie.) There's one store that I know of in our town that has a kitty mascot, but she's pretty shy. Our vet has very friendly kitties roaming around, though. Thanks for sharing this handsome furiend with us, Mudpie and Melissa! Purrs!

  7. Hunter reminds me of my son's cat. A local pet store had a "store kitty", for years, until she passed away.

  11. That is so cool!! The only store we know of that has a kitty is The Whole Cat (and Dog, Too) which is a natural pet store. We think more stores should have kitties in them!

  18. Our farm animal grain store have a couple of cats to keep the mice and rat numbers down. Our old family owned hardware store also had a cat.

  19. Hunter is such a handsome mancat! More stores need to have kitty mascots. I would definitely frequent those stores more often. There is only one store around here that has a kitty mascot that I can think of. It's basically a pawnshop that specializes in precious metals and antiques.

  20. TBT says he has never seen a cat in a yard store (though there are plenty of fat birdies), but we agree that riding mower seats ARE very comfy...

  21. Hunter is awesome! There's a store near my work that has a kitty. Love stopping by, or at least popping my head in to see what it's doing. :)

  22. Oh, that's hilarious! He looks so comfy on his tractor :)

My local, independent bookstore has a resident orange tabby. He's a wonderful browsing partner. When I sit down to examine a book, he hops right into my nap for a lap. It makes shopping so much more fun!

  23. Mom loves stores with kitties. Over time we have had some in our area, but she doesn't know of any at this time. Hunter looks like a great store greeter. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
