And now our weekly answers (answered by Mommy) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. Fireworks don't excite me that much, probably because the displays around here are pretty ho-hum.

2. My favorite 4th of July picnic food is watermelon.

3. I begin every day with some Mudpie love.

4. Air conditioning is the best thing since sliced bread. What did anyone ever do without it? Today we're beginning a stretch of 90+ degrees for the next week, with tomorrow and Monday inching towards 100 Vermont!!!

  1. Mudpie, you look like a painting! I can't believe your weather in Vermont. It's not that hot her in California.

  2. My word that could be me! Yes on the air conditioning thing (#4), but dad's about had it up to here since it's part of his job to keep almost 200 of the damn things running as part of his job. With the exception of the current temps up there this is when dad misses being a New Englander.

  3. Your art is beautiful, Mudpie! Those eyes! Air conditioning is essential. Years ago I lived in an apartment without air conditioning and the heat didn't bother me, but it sure would bother me now. I had no idea it was getting that hot in Vermont. Yikes! :)

  4. Lovely, Mudpie! I agree about A/C, too.

  5. Love your art, Mudpie!

  6. Picture purrfect! TW didn't have ac until she moved here about 15 years ago. Of course that was before climate change.

  7. MudPie! Your art is wonderful! I LOVE it!
And I LOVE your fill ins!

  8. Beautiful art Miss Mudpie. Thanks to your Mom for participating in the fill-ins, I enjoyed her answers. We are getting that heatwave too and can't imagine no a/c. Keep cool :) XO

  9. Another Mudpie masterpiece! Your tortie beauty belongs in a museum. And, fantastic fill-ins! I can relate to your answer about fireworks. I used to get so excited for them as a child, and now they're only mildly interesting. Now I wish I had put watermelon for my #2. There is nothing like fresh watermelon on a hot summer day. And your #3 is purrfect! As is your #4. Happy weekend!

  10. Mudpie, your art needs to be blown-up and hung on the wall. It is so gorgeous, as are you. Good completions on fill-ins. Our mom loves watermelon too. The best part is that it is low cal.
