The Sunday Post #27

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
This week I finally started a Facebook page for the blog...please check it out and "like" me here.

I'm also toying around with the idea of having my blog professionally redone..I'd love to hear your opinions on this. Did you design your blog yourself or hire someone?

Some interesting looking books! :-) Happy reading!

I designed my blog myself, with lots of help from my husband, using free photoshop brushes from DeviantArt. It was fun, and I really wanted to at least try to make something myself, but I would definitely consider getting it professionally done too. Maybe if I want a change one day. But if you do have photoshop and can use it pretty well, I would recommend having a play around on your own first, just because it's so much fun to make something for yourself! (If you do use other people's brushes and art, make sure they've said its okay, and make sure you credit them somewhere on the site).

Have a great week! :-D

Great books, I need to check some of those out. I liked your facebook page. :) I am paying someone to redesign my blog. I don't know how to and I don't have the time to make graphics and things.

I downloaded several of the books from your freebie list. You and Melissa's Eclectic Books are so bad for my TBR pile. :D

I'll check out your facebook page. My blog is a basic blogger theme; someday I want to hire someone to design it. Good luck with yours, whatever you do.
