Mudpie's Bunny Friend #SundaySelfies

Meows from Mudpie!

My new little friend didn't feel like taking a selfie but I wanted to introduce you to him/her today anyways. Over the past couple weeks Mommy and I have seen him in our front yard, back yard, even playing in the street late one night! (Mommy had a minor coronary watching that one.)

We're a bit concerned about what's going to happen once the vegetable garden goes in the ground, but I sure do enjoy watching the little critter!

What do you think I should name him?

We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

And now our weekly answers (all answered by Mommy this week) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. Christmas (followed closely by Halloween) is my favorite time of the year.

2. My favorite character on Big Bang Theory is Soft Kitty. Is that even a character? I've never watched the show.

3. I could set a world record for online shopping. On a daily basis I ask myself how the world existed before Amazon and Ebay came along.

4. Adopting Truffles and Mudpie before meeting them in person is the craziest thing I've ever done. I don't recommend that anyone adopt a cat this way but it has worked for me! (Both were in out of the area shelters, I saw their pictures online and just *knew* they belonged with me.)

Oh my, playing in the street is not to be recommended. Nor for that matter in the veg patch as that will cause much disgruntlement, MOL
As to a name, well maybe Hopalong. after all that is what you'll need to say if she/he gets too near the road or prize veggies or catnip! ;)

Hopefully that little bunny didn't get hit playing in the street. Mom and dad saw a little guy like that sitting on the side of the road on their way to Lake Waccamaw the other day, right after seeing 2 alligators lazily floating in a river right off the side of the road.

We see a bunch of critters in our yard but have not seen a bunny. That one is cute.
Maybe Hunny Bunny?

What a cute little friend, I'd name him Peter because I love Beatrix Potter so much. But Peter is not a very creative name - I'm sure you'll pick the perfect name for him Mudpie. I love that your mom adopted you and Truffles before meeting you both - she is a rescue hero for doing that!

Aww, that little bunny is adorable! We think his cousin has been visiting our backyard lately. :)

Jelly Bean. Mom and Dad raised a wild baby bunny after it’s mommy got killed. That was the name they gave it. Mom adopted Astrid from a photo on PetFinder. Maybe it is okay to do that with torties. Thanks for sharing the bunny and be true hoppers this week. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

Cover everything in high sided plastic that is hard to chew. But is bunny is risking their life playing out at night * shakes head * well....

Cute bunny. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins- I loved all your answers. You just know when a kitty is right for you. I went 6 hours to NJ for KaTwo from only seeing a photo. Don't forget Chewy too when online ordering :) Have a nice week. XO

How cute! We don't get to see bunnies on the third floor. Just a lot of squirrels on the roof next door.

Funny as Dad has many of the same answers buying almost everything online. Also adopting sight unseen is a bit different as Einstein was brought in sick and barely hanging on and now... well he was not a planned adoption but it worked out. Purrs to you and Mom!
PS maybe Hopper? for the bunny

What a cute bunny! We don't have any around here, just lizards to watch. I'd much prefer to watch a bunny.

Oh, I love bunnies! Mudpie, this hoppy little friend of yours is almost as cute as you. We're trying to think of a Conway Twitty inspired name for this little fella, but nothing adequate is coming to mind. Hmmm.

Your fill-ins are all purrfect! I already cannot wait for Halloween and Christmas. It reached 90°F and was majorly muggy this weekend, and now I'm eager for a cool and crisp autumn. As for your impulse adoptions of Truffles and Mudpie, I think those turned out absolutely purrfectly!
