And now our weekly answers (all answered by Mommy this week) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. My favorite quote is Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened. -Dr. Seuss.

2. My favorite part of February is the start of the NASCAR season.

3. A little known fact about me is I hated school as a little girl, even though I was an excellent student. My poor mother had to wait out in the hall for the first couple weeks of my Kindergarten year. I was a homebody even then, and couldn't believe she kept sending me back to such an awful place!

4. Adopting a rescue pet is the most rewarding experience in the world.

I love your art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I knew that was your favorite quote :) I had the same answer for #4 and I hated school too, home is the best place to be. Have a nice weekend. XO

Oh, what pretty Valentine's art, Mudpie! Your gorgeous face makes it absolutely purrfect. And it still amazes me how much we have in common. I was exactly like you when it came to school. I wanted to do well in school, I put a lot of pressure on myself and studied incredibly hard, and I was even valedictorian of my high school class. But, I did not enjoy school. I would have preferred to learn the things I wanted to learn in my own way, and also to not have to leave my house. Your comments on kindergarten made me smile, because I myself was a literal crybaby in kindergarten. All these years later, I still feel embarrassed to admit that I would very often cry when my parents dropped me off for kindergarten, because my 5-year-old homebody self really just wanted to stay in the comfort of my home.

MP, your human cost me. I'd placed a bet in Vegal that your mom's favorite quote was gonna be by CT. TW hated school too but that was cos she was bullied.

They should definitely make cups and mugs like that...with Mudpie’s face on it.
