Most weeks Mommy takes over our Mewsic Moves Me posts with her country music, but today I'm commandeering the blog with some kitty Christmas kitsch mewsic!
Meowy Christmas was the first album released in the Jingle Cats franchise in 1993. Mommy bought the cassette way back then and still has it somewhere, but last week we discovered the whole album has been posted on YouTube! She played some of it for me a few days ago thinking the meowing cats would drive me up the wall, but it didn't really bother me at all! I pawed at her phone and seemed to wonder where the cats were hiding, but then I resumed my nap.

A couple weeks ago Mommy mentioned that she was thinking of using our new CatLadyBox cat head-shaped cooling rack to hang Christmas ornaments from.
Over the holiday weekend she spent quite a bit of time playing with it and is quite happy with how it turned out. Her first idea was to use just mini cat ornaments but that didn't really look festive enough so she decided to add some Christmas balls and snowflakes too. We think it's really pretty, and now Mommy is talking about leaving it up and changing it for each holiday/season!
Today is National Cookie Day, and most of you are likely putting Christmas cookies on your cooling racks, not hanging ornaments from them. What's your favorite Christmas cookie? Anyone have a recipe idea for kitty cookies using squeezies as the main ingredient? I volunteer to be your taste tester!
