Such sad news about Kenny Rogers! That was a lovely tribute, and those were some of my favourites too. Must add Islands In The Stream, his duet with Dolly Parton. Have a good week!

He's definitely gonna be missed. As a big Dolly fan, I'd add Islands in the Stream too.

M&M,

This is a beautiful tribute to another fallen mewsical star. My high school teacher had such a crush on Kenny Rogers. In fact, her husband resembled him a bit. :) Coincidence? I don't know but I thought it was fascinating. I can't say what song by Rogers is my favorite, but these are definitely some of them. I don't remember "Crazy" being one of his songs. *scratch head* My memory isn't what it used to be. Thanks for hitting the dance floor with the 4M crew. Have a boogietastic week. Saying prayers that you & yours stay healthy, my furriends. xx

Thanks for sharing your wonderful song tribute to Kenny Rogers. I remember my dad always had him playing when he was doing his gardening during the summertime. Such a great voice and still enjoy his music still. Have a great day.

All great songs. I like his stuff from the First Edition Days, particularly "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town." We lost a great voice...

On our walk on Sunday, my husband cycled through his songs on his phone. What a talented guy he was.

My favorite Kenny Rogers songs? The two I had in my blog post Monday - his duo with Dolly Parton (Islands in the Stream) and Just Dropped in (To See What Condition My Condition was In). And, The Gambler, because you just have to know when to hold them, when to fold them..." Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
