Bag Ban Blues

Meows from Mudpie!

Ever since July Mommy has been griping about the plastic bag ban instituted here in Vermont. Retailers are no longer allowed to provide single-use plastic bags even though many people repurpose them as trash bags (not to mention for used kitty litter!) Stores can still provide paper bags but there's a ten cent fee now! Mommy says she refuses to pay for something that's always been free.

So now every time Mommy goes shopping she has to make sure she has enough reusable bags in the car. So you know what I started thinking? If I lay down on the reusable bag, she won't be able to leave me and go shopping!

What's that, Mommy? There are more bags in the car? Oh well, I tried. Bring me back some squeezies!

We've had a bag ban here for - well, I don't even remember when there wasn't a bag ban! My human actually ordered single-use bags in bulk for when we go to cat shows and need to dispose of litter! Of course, they haven't been used for a while except at home.

We are into bag bans at some places too.
Mum always carries a bag from IKEA.
It is strong and has short and long handles so she can use it as a shoulder bag.
I am happy that you have exyra ones so you can sit on some ;)

We are not able to use our reusable bags due to COVID, and we're sad about that.

Mom has reusable bags but we still have single use ones and she often gets them since she uses them for our litter. They actually have said those are better during COVID.

Always thinking, Mudpie!
I use the plastic wrapper that the newspaper comes in, for used litter disposal. Grocery plastic bags are taken back to the store, in their recycle bin.

That is really odd as here they have done he exact opposite. We cannot bring reusable bags or if we do we have to wait at the end of the track and fill them ourselves while they are in the cart. We get too many bags you have too little. This is why things are nuts all over

I HATE that ban. I was glad when our local grocery store lifted it for COVID, but now it is back. I need those for litter too. :)

Very smart plan Mudpie! We have the same rule here!

We have a bag ban here, too, Mudpie. You can get paper bags, but they do cost money.

Some of our local stores have started banning plastic bags, but it's nothing official in our area yet. I'm like you and use them to scoop litter and to line small trash cans. I'll have to find an alternative if the bags become banned in our area. Purrs! And we hope your mommy brought you back lots of squeezies, Mudpie!

However with a lot information and wide-spread accessibility, you might question whether all CBD items are legal. And if so, are they legal in your state? And what about the remainder of the United States, is cannabis oil pills for sale legal in all 50 states? Now, we're not amazed about your confusion. CBD is a cannabinoid extracted from cannabis plants.
