What a Time to Get in Trouble #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

I got into a little bit of trouble yesterday morning. Here's what happened...

Mommy was lounging in bed and I was beside her looking out the window from my bookcase bed. All of a sudden the devil got into me. Mommy doesn't know if I saw a bug on the window or if a small animal went by, but I started pawing at the window behind the curtain, then crawled up the window until I was so wedged under the shade my back legs were the only part of me you could see! I must've been a sight if anyone had been looking in at the time. Mommy was sure I was going to end up bringing the curtain and shade down, but I didn't.

She finally got me to come out for breakfast, but while she was in the kitchen I disappeared and she found that I had snuck back into the bedroom to give it another try! She actually called me a "little s**t!!!"

Then it got worse! When Mommy came home from grocery shopping she said they were sold out of squeezies, that most likely Santa has been stocking up for good kitties, and I might no longer be on the list!

Should I be worried? I'm normally a purrfect little angel so this one little transgression won't put me on the naughty list, will it?

I need some consolation...

We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

THEY RAN OUT OF SQUEEZIES?!?!?!?!?!

Surely this is a ruse? Mum is trying to tell you to calm down in time for Christmas!!

Right???

OK take a breath, you can do this. Did you check her bag? Maybe she has some hidden away because she knows you are a good girl really.

An excellent selfie, and absolutely no sign of ill effects from your adventure. If anyone asks, you were just sizing the windows up for new blinds and curtains. That works for me, MOL

I don't think it was that bad, Mudpie! Binga did worse at least four times a day!

I wouldn't worry, dear girl. Like I always tell mom and dad-especially when dad calls me a little sh*t- I'll take their breath away when they're sleeping. Usually does the trick. I had a spell a while back where I was tripping out behind the drapes in our living room. I believe dad's got some pictures and is planning on a future post with them.

You are innocent! You were protecting her from a killer bug! Just give her the sad eyes and all will be forgiven.

I’m pretty sure Santa will be bringing you squeezies, Mudpie. You could never be on his naughty list.

We think your mom is trying to trick you into being good...though we don't think you were naughty at all. Santa has plenty of squeezies.

We think Santa will bring you squeezies but, just in case, maybe you should stay out of the window!

Mom's just teasing you, Mudpie. We're sure you're still on the good list, cutie pie!

Mudpie you have NOTHING to worry about! Mom can't open the windows because I scale the screens to the VERY TOP!! She also can't use her blinds in the living room because I have tried to scale those too, now I should be the one worried! Love from your new furiend, Roary

My new sisfur Esmay does that, too! And a couple of times she's tried to pull down the woven blinds by climbing up them. She also likes to paw at the stripey fabric on the rod that Mom has in the living room. I think she does it, 'cause she gets bored. Winks.

Mudpie I know you were not meaning to cause Mom stress. Accidental trouble does not count on the list and anything a cat does wrong is accidental. Yep, it is

We're pretty sure torties get a mulligan. We juss hope the Squeezie shipments don't get held up by a blizzard.

No squeezies!!!! Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope they resolve that supply issue SOON Mudpie!!!!!!
As for the naughty list, you did not do anything so terrible to be on that list!!
You were just doing what cats do...being curious ;)

Out of squeezies! She best keep searching. You are definitely on the good list.

Worry not, Mudpie!
Cats are always on Santa’s ‘Nice’ list!

We won't tell her that you do things like that when she's not home. Shat she doesn't know won't hurt her, or your chances for squeezies.

Don't worry, Mudpie. Your mom could never deny you anything!

We see nothing but pure innocence when we look at you, Mudpie. That being said, around here, it's usually Tonks getting called a "little s**t". Can you believe that?

Mudpie, when humans *really* don't like cats, they don't *mind* if cats get stuck in or fall out through windows.
