Raising Humans #MewsicMovesMe

It's a freebie week in the Mewsic Moves Me blog hop and we're only featuring one song because it's so special...

It's probably been about 5 years since I listened to today's country music. A couple weeks ago I was looking at a Billboard chart and hardly recognized a single name, yet I don't feel like I'm missing a thing.

Then last weekend I was watching a show on the Circle Network and Easton Corbin was talking about a hit song for him called Raising Humans. I was intrigued when he explained it was about dogs, and after hearing a performance clip of the last verse I had to hear the entire song.

Grab a tissue and listen...

We had never heard of this song. We love when musicians talk about pets. We wish more would.

What a great song! Just to be honest, I think having a dog in the family makes raising humans a little easier. They give us an example of unconditional love. Outstanding choice this morning. Have a blessed week.

It's been a while for me and Country also; I was big into it in about 2013/2014 but then I fell off. Good pick.

Brings back all the loves we've had in our lives. A real tearjerker. Beautiful though.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches all around. ♥
