Heart Tugging #MewsicMovesMe

The theme of this week's Mewsic Moves Me blog hop is songs about animals...how could we not participate? I apologize for the absence of cat songs. Apparently cats and country music don't mix!

We hope you enjoyed our choices this week!

Let us know if you have a favorite...
and which brought the biggest lump to your throat.

While there may not be songs about cats, it is good that people like
dogs. Animal lovers tend to be much nicer humans :)

M&M,

"Wildfire" is such a pretty song. I hadn't thought about the there not being any country songs about cats. I did a quick search "country songs about cats" on DuckGo and got one hit that named which included these titles I'm totally unfamiliar with "Della and the Dealer" Hoyt Axton, "The Cat Came Back" Sonny James, "Cool Cat" Collin Raye, "You Know Me Better Than That" George Strait, and "Walkin' My Cat Named Dog" Norma Tanega. Don't forget there is the country band, Nashville Cats. Hopefully these tidbits will help to soothe Mudpie's nerves after hearing all these tunes about dogs. :) That being said, I enjoyed your dog song titles which are introductions. I think my favorite is Luke Bryan's song. Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor and have a boogietastic week, my friend!

Those were some really sweet tunes.

I'll have to listen later but these all look good! As for the absence of country music about cats, a group of barn cats needs to get busy and start a band!

LOVE the Luke Bryant song. It is not always easy to watch our dogs grow old, reminding us that we will be there one day.

Adorable art, and precious songs! I remember the first time I heard Luke Bryan's Little Boys Grow Up and Dogs Get Old. It's such a sweet song, but in a bittersweet sort of way. Purrs!

The only song I knew was "Wildfire" (because it crossed over onto the rock charts) and that is one that makes me cry if I hear it. I did enjoy Dolly Parton's song also for her voice, and Luke's song because...well, it's a pain all pet lovers know too well. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
