It's been a few years since we premiered our mewsic feature "Retro Country Rewind," a look back at favorite songs that hit #1 during that month from 30, 35, 40 plus years ago. In this new year we'll be delving into #1 hits from 1972, 1977, 1982, and so on. Let's take a look at November for this freebie week in the Mewsic Moves Me blog hop...

45 Years Ago - 1977, I'm Just a Country Boy, Don Williams

From Toffee Cat: My old woman loves I'm Just A Country Boy because she's a country girl - although from England! Great pictures.

M&M,

Although, I know your feature artists, I'm not sure that I remember any of these songs which is kind of wild. I always like T.G. Sheppard when I was a kid. I guess my pick has to be Janie Fricke, "It Ain't Easy Being Easy". Thanks for joining the 4M party this week. Have a blesse Thanksgiving and boogietastic week, my furriend!

I recognize most of the singers, but not the songs. I didn't get into country music until the late 80's.

Oh, good ones, Mudpie and Mom Melissa! I haven't listened to Janie Fricke in a while. I have to go look through my old albums. :)

My favorite was T.G. Sheppard's song. The person who put that video together with all the biographical details made the song even more interested. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
