Grandpa, You're Fired!

Meows from Mudpie!

On Wednesday morning I wasn't feeling well. I barfed several times and made a number of trips to my litter box. (I'm fine, I just overindulged on treats Tuesday and ended up paying for it. Mommy needs to learn to say no to me when I start teasing!)

Anyways, all I wanted to do was cuddle on Mommy's lap for comfort. She didn't want to leave me but she had an appointment at the mall right after lunch to get hers and Grandpa's taxes done.

Grandpa stayed home with me, and Mommy was gone for over 2 hours! When she finally came home she asked Grandpa where I was.

"I haven't seen her. Isn't she in the kitchen?"

No, I wasn't in the kitchen, I had gone to sleep in my KatKabin. But before that I had gone potty TWO more times and he hadn't even known it!

Needless to say, Grandpa didn't get paid for his cat sitting. In fact, we fired him! MOL

Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is:

Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).

Bad Bad Grandpa! Not very observant, was he, Mudpie?

Poor Grandpa. I don't guess he can hire out now for a pet sitter with anyone else can he? He should be well trained by now living with you.

Grandpa isn't a very good cat sitter is he, Mudpie? But we think you should forgive him for that.

Oh no! You had to fire your grandpa as cat sitter? I bet he gets another chance later.

Grandpa was not very good at his job, was he!

I've wished I could afford to pamper mine even with individual litter boxes, but things are as they are...all kittens use one box, as many times as they need to use it overnight, until they're big enough to stay out at night and use the sand pit like adult cats.

Dearest Mudpie,
You are a spoiled kitty and you have to learn how to respect the elderly more.
Grandpa meant well and he did his very best.
Being two hours without Mommy—but not alone is nothing to complain about.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

Sometimes Grandpas get distracted. It's okay, they try.

I'm glad you are feeling better and thank you for linking up to Feline Friday!

Sometimes grandpas forget things, but they still love you. Hope you and your mom will consider rehiring him. XOCK, angels Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta & Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
