Feline Friday Flashback: Mudpie & the Leprechaun

Meows from Mudpie!

Officially known as the "Pi Day" storm, 7 years ago on March 14-15 our neck of the woods got dumped with 30.4" of snow, making it the second largest storm on record!

The cleanup continued well into St. Patrick's Day, leading us to create this cute little graphic.

We've looked at this countless times in the past 7 years, and it still cracks us up every single time. Thankfully there are no leprechauns buried in our back yard this year. In fact, yesterday I spotted one taking a sunbath as it was nearly 60 degrees out!

Feline Friday is simple to join. All you have to do is:

Post a picture, drawing, cartoon or video of a cat (They may be silly or cute).

Mudpie, you were dead–serious in calling Mommy to help dig out that leprechaun.
We had a very warm and sunny day of 81°F and I walked with my walker.
Rain is coming our way again...
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties

This is a silly picture, Mudpie! Dad says he and mom had an engagement party instead of a wedding reception, and held it on St. Patrick's Day when they got almost a foot of snow dumped on them during a rare March storm.

You look very concerned, Mudpie. I hope you got the leprechaun safely dug out.

Mudpie you lead an interesting life. Here you were on leprechaun Duty and helping Mommy shovel out the driveway. Last night for us we've sat here listening to the tornado sirens going off for hours. It was a bad night but fortunately nothing happened to our yard or house.

Yes, this is an adorable picture indeed. I love the look on Mudpie's face. We're glad you don't have to do a massive snow shovelling this year. Purrhaps you can enjoy St. Paddy's Day for a change.

That was way too much snow, Mudpie! No leprechaun could live in that!
