Visiting a Snowy Whoville #CaturdayArt

Meows from Mudpie!

Today we're taking part in the annual celebration of Dr Seuss' birthday, also known as National Read Across America Day. While it's customary to dress up in the Cat in the Hat's signature red & white striped hat, Mommy's favorite Seuss creation is the Grinch (which really makes no sense because no one loves Christmas more than she does!) In honor of this fun holiday, this little tortie got to visit Whoville in the midst of a snowstorm!

And now our weekly answers (all answered by Mommy this week) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. My favorite place to read is on the couch or in bed. Preferably with Mudpie nearby.

2. My favorite genre to read are cozy mysteries.

3. Mandy Morton's The Ghost of Christmas Paws is a book I could read over and over again.

4. Nancy Drew books inspired me to fall in love with mysteries.

Mudpie you look like you're having a terrific time in Whoville. All except for the snow maybe. Glad we're not living in the Sierra Nevada today. I'm like your mommy when it comes to reading cozy Mysteries especially if there's a cat involved. Have a great weekend

Nice art. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Always best to have a cat nearby when reading. XO

Mudpie, We hope you aren't too cold there, in the middle of that snowstorm - though it does look furry purrty! As do you too.
