Meows from Mudpie!
I have a cold. I started sneezing Tuesday evening and haven't stopped since. I sneeze 10-12 times in a row, but Mommy says I have a very ladylike sneeze. (Her kitty Sashi used to have lots of nose trouble and she would fling snot all over the place!)
Needless to say, I've been feeling pretty miserable so Mommy is trying to cuddle me all I want until I feel better. You can see my weepy eyes in the selfie I took on Friday. I had just finished my breakfast which was pretty good, but my appetite isn't as good as it usually is either. I'm not even constantly underfoot in search of a snack helping Mommy out in the kitchen like I normally do.
I look pretty pitiful, don't I?

Mudpie, you didn't go to elementary school and catch up from all the little children did you? You definitely should not have a cold. We hope that the sneezing quits by the end of today and that you're feeling much much better. In the meantime you actually took a very pretty picture.

Cats can share colds with humans or show mild cold-like symptoms when fighting off the virus that can cause panleukopenia, but Serena has hayfever-like reactions to something in New Roundup. Hope nobody in your neighborhood sprays!

Kitty colds are miserable, especially since the vet who goes to the shelter told me they are really more like sinus infections and have to be treated with antibiotics. I hope you recover quickly!

Oh no! I had one too. Instead of meowing only a croak came out. My human took me in the shower room with me and made me stay there-two or three times. ThenI finally got better. You look so sad! Oh sweet Mudpie, our furr aunties had a cold too, first Phoebe and then came all the other five. Well, they're all better now so we send some Healing Pawkisses to you and purrayers to feel better soon🙏🐾😽💞
