1. I recommend everyone learn something new this year. I just found out about a local company offering free online classes for women who want to learn more about cars and car repair. Now that I'm on my own I think it would be beneficial to me.
2. My stress level is still sky high and I need a break. After losing Dad I was hoping to have a little time to decompress, but now it looks like I'll need to replace my only 7 year old furnace. I'm just sick over it.
3. I try to save money by buying everything possible on sale and cooking all my meals at home.
4. I sometimes let myself splurge on Halloween and Christmas decor.

The art is lovely. I always cook at home too. I do have a couple of bags of frozen Chinese stir fry in the freezer for emergency though.
We do go out to eat maybe once a month but then it's someplace inexpensive like chinese. Otherwise it's to the grocery and back to the kitchen stove, lol. Sorry to hear about the furnace. Maybe you could get a new mechanic to take a look at it and just decide if it needs a part replaced? I hope so because I know they're expensive.
Great artwork. We know the feeling (#2). Mom says we might need a new A/C this year. UGH
Very pretty sweet Mudpie! Those were good answers but that sure sucks about the furnace.
Lovely art, Mudpie. Mum complains about stress too. I hear her say she feels like she's having a breakdown.
It looks wonderful. Great art :-D
I always enjoy your artworks.
I’m sorry about the furnace, it’s so hard when things don’t last after they cost so much.
