Making Lemonade From Lemons #CaturdayArt

Meows from Mudpie!

Yesterday we had a bunch of bloopers to share with you, and today I decided to take one of those unfortunate photos and turn it into something a little more pleasant to look at. LunaPic helped me create my masterpiece this week.

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader!

Mommy's answers:

1. I don’t understand why college and high school sports are so popular? Maybe I'm unusual but when I graduated from school I was happy to leave all that behind me. Wanting to go back there on a regular basis to attend games is nothing I'd ever want to do.

2. My in case of emergency person is my parents.

Mudpie's answers:

3. There is so much crap on television nowadays! I don't know why Mommy doesn't turn that noise box off and just spend all her spare time playing with me.

4. I would be lost without Mommy...and my cozy beds...and my fun toys...and my favorite treats. I'm a high maintenance tortie!

I love this effect! And Mudpie, even though my human does not watch TV, she still manages to not have enough time to play with me. I have no idea how it works out that way!

Beautiful effect, Mudpie!

My mum is like yours. She hates sports and couldn't wait to leave it all behind (and the bullies) at school.

I'd be lost without my mum too.

Yet another masterpiece starring the fabulous Mudpie! Also, we always enjoy your fill-ins. I've never understood all the hype surrounding school sports either. I've never once in my life played a competitive sport. Oh, Mudpie, we don't think you're high maintenance at all. You simply have refined taste, and there's nothing wrong with that! Purrs!

The photo turned out great. I think there is too much emphasis paid on sports and too much junk on TV.

That came out great! I like taking a photo that's kind of messed up and seeing what a filter or two will do to it. Mudpie, you're right that there is too much crap on TV. All humans should just turn it off and play with the cat!

Miss Mudpie is indeed a masterpiece. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am with you on #1, I never want to relive those days. And I am glad your Mom caters to all your high maintenance tortie ways Miss Mudpie. XO

Boy we sure can see you in those cozy bed, Mudpie! But unlike you, we LUV television. Doesn't even have to be cat tv, though that's our favorite. We enjoyed your artwork and think today we will call you MOCHA MUDPIE!

It amazes me that college sports takes a chunk out of TV viewing, when many people did not attend universities like that. I do agree with the cr@p on TV, too.
Enjoy your weekend, ladies! Hugs.

Fun art! TW doesn't get the high school and college sports but does get excited when she sees an athlete from her school might be drafted by a pro team. Years back a kid who used to play baseball on her street got drafted by the Yankees but he blew the chance.
