Pleading #SundaySelfie

Meows from Mudpie!

Would you be able to resist this pleading look if I aimed it in your direction?

Mommy helped me snap this selfie the other day when she returned home from cat-sitting our neighbor kitty. It's one more thing added to her already overflowing plate. I was begging her to come inside and have some "us" time.

We feel like we're totally neglecting our duties in the cat blogosphere lately. (You may have noticed we've cut down our schedule to posting on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the weekends.) Mommy is so overwhelmed by life right now - her work has been insane for months, and now my grandpa has some new health issues that have had to be dealt with. It feels like she and I never have enough quality time to spend together anymore.

If you think this selfie is cute, wait until you see video of the game of footsie we play through the door, which Mommy got at the same time as this photo. That is...if she finds time to upload it!

We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

We fully understand about the whole time issue, which is why . we limit ourselves to once a week and the special Photo Fails hop, and the Pet Parade when we have something new to share.
We love your appealing selfie, and I am sure Mrs H would be hard pressed to NOT give you anything you desire ;)

Mudpie, take a breath. OK?

We will not abandon you because you can't post on your 'schedule'. Fine OK! Post on a new schedule. A slight change works FINE!

If anyone doesn't like it Pfffft OK!? The people who stay are your friends, your online family.

I hope you don't stress. We love you heaps.

Who could ignore that sweet pleading face, dear Mudpie? We're right there with your mom on the blogging time thing, as with many others, I'm sure. Dad may not have the toughest job in the world, but it has him tearing what hair he has left out of his head almost daily now.

Remind your momma that you are her best medicine for when she gets overwhelmed and stressed. My mom can relate, 'cause she got overwhelmed last year, so at the start of this year she made changes to reduce her work load so she'd have more time for me and Dad. Your momma has our support. Kisses.

We bet that adorable face of yours coaxed your mom in for cuddles pretty quickly, Mudpie. After all, you're irresistible! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with only posting as often as you are able. I've been posting daily, but work and being an adult in general means things sure can get hectic sometimes, and I often consider trying to find a day or two per week that we refrain from posting. I haven't been able to decide on a day yet, though, so we're still posting daily. I've been doing terribly at visiting our friends and commenting daily, though, and I do hope to remedy that soon. Purrs and prayers to your grandpa, mom, and you, Mudpie!

Hope your granddad is feeling better soon and your Mom has some "down" time.
