Searching for Light in the Darkness

Yes, we still have a small tabletop tree up in the living room. It provides an extra source of light and comfort during the dreary months after the holidays. Typically it comes down by now but with the challenges we're all currently facing, it's staying up. If there was ever a need for added comfort and light, it's now. Purrs that everyone is staying safe.

Totally, it should stay up! We are trying to be safe here. My human, although she likes being around people and physical contact, is actually also pretty good at social distancing (she just doesn't like it, but she does it).

That's a wonderful idea - we sure need all the light we can get. Be safe!

We read a story yesterday that people are putting their Christmas lights up again because they feel they need a bright spot during this scary time.

If it makes you feel happy, then it's okay by us!

I have both Halloween and Christmas decor that I keep up all year long. One of these is a spooky Halloween tree that lights up, and it sits front and center on my desk all year long. If it makes you happy, why get rid of it? Purrs and well wishes to your entire family!

Mudpie, we hope you and your mom are doing well with all this going on. Keep the tree up to make you feel comfortable and feel safe. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and take this day by day. We will be ok.

And I've been yelling at my peeps to take the Christmas tablecloth off the table.
