Meows from Mudpie!
Friday was a purrfect day in our neck of the woods so Mommy decided to take me out in my stroller. I spent around 45 minutes outside and enjoyed it so much!
We walked around the corner to visit a neighbor but she wasn't home, so Mommy parked me in the sunny driveway while she did a few things in our yard.
I do tend to get a little upset when I can't see where Mommy is. She got into a sneezing spell and had to run in the house for some tissues, and when she came back out 30 seconds later I was standing up in my stroller looking for her. Then she did a little puttering in the garage and I couldn't see her (plus the mailman walked up the driveway), so I started meowing.
Mommy ended up just sitting in the driveway, hanging out with me, promising she would never leave me unprotected. When I started pushing up against the stroller netting she decided that was my cue that I wanted to go back inside, and she was right.
Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be ridiculously hot (heat index of 105+ predicted!) so I don't think I'll be getting back out again for a few days. Mudpies can melt, ya know!
Mommy said it'll be even more fun to go out this fall when it gets crisp and cool - but I bet I'll need to add a blankie to my stroller so I don't catch a chill!

There was a threat that we would get up to 40c in a week's time, but that has evaporated thank goodness. Better safe indoors in the cool with your staff than out in the heat, stroller or no.
Have a lovely cool week, Mudpie!
