Sunday Selfies & Friendly Fill Ins

We're joining our friends at The Cat On My Head for the Sunday Selfies blog hop!

And now our weekly answers for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

Mommy's answers:

1. I used to be able to roller skate, but I no longer can. Well, I can't say for sure that I no longer can, but I would almost be afraid to try, especially at the speeds I used to go!

2. I'm notorious for burning kitchen utensils in the oven. I've done it 4 times in the past couple years, the last just a few weeks ago, and a plastic bowl too.

Mudpie's answers:

3. I just can't seem to convince Mommy that she should be a full time cat mom.

4. There's no use crying over spilled kibble. I'll clean it up for you!

My mom said she recently had a dream about roller skating when she was young. She wish she still had her old roller skates. One time Mom melted a plastic lid in the oven and another time she burnt up a wok on the stove trying to make popcorn. I'm so-o glad that was before my time! Tee hee hee. Mudpie, maybe our mommas should stay clear of the stove altogether and just focus their attention in the kitchen on keeping our plates full of tuna fishes. I used to ice skate which was fun, I'd probably break a leg now!

Brrr skating sounds way too active and dangerous for us. We far prefer selfies and looking at how charming everyone is today :)
Have a great week, Mudpie.

Beautiful picture Mudpie! I used to love rollerskating too - and I don't think I'll go back, bike riding is more my style nowadays. I love your fill ins, so nice of you to clean up the spilled kibble - MOL!

Very pretty selfie. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know your mom would love to be home with you all day, but someone needs to make the money to keep you in expensive kibble :) That is funny about the cooking stuff in the oven- oopsie. XO

If you convince Miss Melissa to be a full time cat mom can you tell us how you did it?

In the past two weeks, The Hubby and I...with the help of curious cats...have tipped over three water glasses, and thus creating floods on the countertop, and the kitchen table. I don't want to use plastic water bottles, so we may have to switch to coffee mugs for water...that cats cannot knock those over as easily!

Hello, gorgeous Mudpie! You and your mommy sure did a fantastic job with the fill-ins! Oh boy, you and I could probably quite proficiently burn down a kitchen together. I tend to burn and melt things on the stove top, though. I forget that burners in use are, well, hot. That's why I keep kitties away when I'm cooking. Mudpie, we bet your mommy would be happy to be a full-time cat mom!

Oh gosh, I'd be scared to put on roller skates now! Maybe with lots of pads and a helmet! I hope you can convince your mom to be a full-time cat mom!
