Painted Cat Parade #CaturdayArt

Meows from Mudpie!

This week I was super excited to be a part of the Painted Cat Parade presented by our sweet friends Peaches & Paprika in celebration of National Body Painting Day. Didn't they do a pawsome job turning me into a painted lady? (NO, not THAT kind!!!)

And now our answers (all answered by Mommy this week) for the Friendly Fill-Ins challenge, hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

1. When this pandemic is over, I hope to never hear things like unprecedented/uncertain times, we're all in this together, abundance of caution, wear a mask, self isolation and social distancing ever again. I'm so over all of it.

2. I have zero interest in anything summer-related.

3. I always look forward to Christmas in July. The only worthwhile part of July!

4. Summer heat is the bane of my existence. We've already had 12 days over 90 degrees this year, and the past 2 days have had a heat index of 100. That's just wrong in northern Vermont and I hate every minute of it!

Geez, all my fill ins are complaints! Guess the crazy heat has made me grouchy.

It's even a little hot for my heat-seeking human right now!

Oooh Mudpie, you're so colorful, but you can't even tell it's you! The heat doesn't bother dad much, but what he hates about it is being out in it and then going back inside his work building where it's like sub-zero degrees and uncontrollable!

P.S.- I think this pandemic has made us all grouchy!

Beautiful art. Your mom and I are so much alike Miss Mudpie. I hate the heat, I am especially sick of "we're all in this together" and I love Christmas in July. I went to visit my great nieces the other day and I brought little gifts and munchkin donuts and said it's Christmas in July.:) Have a nice weekend. XO

This is very pretty art, Mudpie.
I agree about the summer heat. Our temperatures should be high 60s to low 70s, but the last few years we have been getting periods of around 90F with 95% humidity. I do not like it at all!!
We get high humidity all year round being close to the sea and two rivers, but I can tolerate it when the temperature is lower.

Beautiful. You look like a stained glass window.

This is furry colourful, Mudpie. It's rather different from your usual style, isn't it? You go more often for darker, more neutral colours. But it's always good to try something new now and again - and, as always, you look so beautiful.

All of these colors look extra gorgeous on you, Mudpie! I love how your eyes turned out in this masterpiece. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I 100% agree with every single one of your answers. This pandemic and the summer and the summer heat can all just go away now. I will take Christmas in July, though. Purrs!
