Cat's Meow Mews & Mailbox #18

Cat's Meow Mailbox is inspired by the great weekly recap book memes (Mailbox MondayWaiting On WednesdayIt’s Monday! What are you reading? and Sunday Post)

Pretty quiet week around here. Luckily we didn't get the big freeze that so much of the country did. Yesterday I went to the Cat Fanciers' Association cat show that annually comes to my area in early January. All of the cats were so, so beautiful (my favorites were the Somalis and Tonkinese), but none of them held a candle to my Truffles :)

Is anyone planning to watch the Hallmark Channel's new series When Calls the Heart? I am such a huge fan of Hallmark's movies, especially their western series produced by Michael Landon Jr., so I've really been looking forward to this series. I really should read the book, too!

In Truffles' mailbox, this week she received a PetBox that she won, and a box of goodies from PetFlow for review...both of which she'll be telling you about soon :) She also got the pixie lounger cover that she asked for in her letter to Santa.

I set my DVR for When the Heart Calls and yeah I could get lost for hours watching that channel. The Dressmaker has been on my wishlist forever, so I look forward to your thoughts. Happy weekend to you and Truffles

I always love your books! I've had my eye on that Buckland title! I've only read his non-fiction!

Your books look great - I hope you enjoy them! I've been eying The Dressmaker, but so far I've been able to keep to my 2014 resolution of not buying/downloading books unless I KNOW I'm going to read or make use of them. (Because heaven knows, I could not get another book from anywhere for a year or even two, and not run out of stuff to read.)

Truffles is indeed a beautiful girl. Sometime I should post a photo of my Tasha; they could almost be sisters, except Tasha's light spot is on the tip of her tail. Sadly, Tasha doesn't like to pose, so it's hard to get good pictures of her.
